The master of Neo-Genre Paintings, Dominic Rubio, is having an expository of some of his artworks which depicts the Philippines in the olden times. It features the day-today lives of some Filipinos and other nationalities as well as back in the old days of course. It includes riding on a boat, going to the market, selling some goodies, going to church and many more.

FINGER-PAINT INSPIRED EYE MAKE-UP FOR CHANEL

The lead make-up artist and global creative director for Chanel Makeup, Peter Philips, concepted a painterly eyes inspired by "finger paint" for the Chanel Fashion Show in the Grand Palais. This fall, Karl Laggerfield revamped the Grand Palais into an art exhibit, adorned with a Chanel No. 5 robot, cast of a silhouette of a woman and a canvas with pearls. Meanwhile, Hairstylist Sam McKnight, got his inspiration from 80's black , blonde and brunette wigs with blunt bangs and shoulder-grazing lengths.

 Mustard Green or Brassica juncea are the green foliage of a mustard plant mostly found in the ingredients in Asia and Africa. It has an individual assortment which differs in leaf size, shape and texture. As for the punch, it's synonymous to spinach but with a "spicy" feel to it. It also has a strong and slightly bitter taste but not quite as bitter as turnip greens.

ike most of us, I used to dislike vegetables as a kid. I despised and avoided it like a plague even if the adults are telling me that it’s healthy. I mean, as kids, we don’t really care much (or at all) about our wellness. The only  vegetable that I can digest are aspharagus, cauliflower, string beans and baby corns. I was always leaning to pasta, sweets and meats, especially fried chicken! But now that I’m a fully grown-up lady, I dig a much more variety of veggies. It’s slimming and healthy when taken moderately, of course. It strikes a balance between looking good and feeling good. Who doesn’t want that?That's why I'm so excited to be on this new journey, the Semi-Pescetarian life!

That is the brief but poignant opening line from the introduction of the inspirational Christian book, What Matters Most for Women.

There are moments when our lives seems to mirror a car chasing action scene from the movie, Mad Max. Hypersonic, relentless, enthralling and sometimes (or most of the time), exhausting. Because of that, we have the tendency to forget and neglect the most significant part of our human composition. That is, non other than the soul. That's why I'm thankful that I've found this piece of gem in a sea of noteworthy paperbacks.
